At CLP, over 85% of our revenue goes directly as compensation to our attorneys and legal specialists. This enables you to earn more money than you could at a traditional law firm, while billing fewer hours (depending on your billing rate). Although our rates are lower than those of large, conventional law firms, CLP's brand, reputation and unique client service tools will empower you to establish billing rates that are closer to normal law firm rates than to those of most solo practitioners. You make more money; your clients spend less. As a partner, you will also be able to deduct all of your expenses related to your law practice.

Better Work/Life Balance: We give you control over how many hours you work, where you work, what clients you work on and what your billing rate is. Achieving a balance between your professional and private lives is one of our key goals. We seek superb attorneys and legal specialists who want to balance family and personal interests with a professional career, but find it difficult to do so in a traditional firm or on their own.

Better Technology Platform: We intend to grow rapidly, but sensibly, to become a worldwide, distributed network of lawyers and specialists working closely with each other and with clients, even though we may be cities or even countries apart. We have created an advanced technology platform to promote collaboration. For example, each CLP project includes its own secure on-line webpage where you, your team and your clients may share documents, checklists, comments and contact and billing information. We rely heavily on web conferencing and other "state of the art" tools to keep us and our clients in touch and productive. We support both Mac and PC platforms.

Better Administrative Support: We are a law firm, not a collection of solo practitioners or a high-end temp agency. Our lawyers often practice in teams, requiring administrative support and unique collaboration tools, particularly since we work from different locations. CLP takes care of bills and collections, attorney training, IT support and many of the other support tasks that large law firms provide. We handle the unbilled administrative work that creates hassles and headaches for solo practitioners.

Better Brand: We refined our logo and marketing materials to create an instantly recognizable brand and to promote our leadership role in the legal industry. Our brand will make it easier for you to improve the number and quality of your clients. We take the hiring part extremely seriously. And fortunately, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of attorney interest. In fact, in our brief history, our acceptance rate is about 1%.

Better for the Environment: We are an environmentally responsible business. CLP is at the vanguard of a growing trend in China economy - virtual service businesses. Sparing our environment by traveling less and working remotely saves on gasoline, improves air quality, reduces our dependence on foreign energy sources and benefits our employees and their families as well.
